    Kieron Wilde is a born naturalist with a fascination with the natural world that led him to a career in Ecology, Education and eventually Sustainable Tourism. Since 2007, Kieron has been helping travelers create memorable experiences in Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Latin America.

    Chief Development Officer

    Camron Wilde is the Chief Development Officer for First Nature, bringing over 20 years of industry experience to the team. He is responsible for shaping First Nature’s growth strategy, enhancing brand reputation, and cultivating a positive organizational culture. Camron excels in developing and implementing innovative business initiatives, recruiting and training top talent, and leading the creative team in art direction, public relations, and media strategy. His commitment to sustainability and social impact informs all aspects of his work, ensuring that First Nature remains a leader in the adventure travel industry.

    Julia Rovea

    Vice President of Operations

    Meet Julia, our Vice President of Operations! Originally from Argentina and raised in Miami, Florida, Julia has found her home in the stunning city of Portland. With a wealth of experience in logistical planning and operations across diverse industries, from hospitality to fashion production, Julia brings a unique perspective to her role at First Nature. As a seasoned professional, she takes charge of planning, directing, coordinating, and overseeing all operational activities within the company. When she’s not immersed in work, you can find her engaged in the art of conversation, often losing track of time in long-winded discussions exploring diverse topics and ideas.

    Daniel Wild

    Director of operations

    Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Daniel Wild has 14 years of experience in hospitality working in restaurants, wineries and a myriad of customer service roles, as well as a vast knowledge of Pacific Northwest wine/viticulture and passion for the outdoors.

    MADISON RESSLER

    Marketing Coordinator

    Madison was born and raised in Wasilla, Alaska, where she first fell in love with the outdoors. She moved to Portland in 2019 to attend Portland State University, where she graduated in 2023 with a degree in Psychology and Digital Marketing. When it comes to marketing, Madison loves combining both her creative and analytical skills, as well as staying up to date with the latest trends. Outside of work, she has a passion for traveling, trying new cocktails, and sharing laughs with friends and family.

    Megan Kelly

    Marketing & Sustainability Coordinator

    Megan is a world traveler having lived in multiple countries and visiting more as a former flight attendant. She graduated with her MSc in International Sustainable Tourism where her research focuses on the use of social media and sustainability in tourism. Megan works on our social media and marketing team and sustainability communications.

    Introducing Rachel Kuhl, our Communications Outreach Manager. Born and raised in Oregon, Rachel’s roots run deep in the Pacific Northwest. A graduate in public health from Oregon State University, she brings a unique perspective to our team. Having lived in Alaska and Hawaii, her heart remains in Oregon, where she passionately connects her community and fosters meaningful connections. With a love for hiking and an affinity for dogs, Rachel embraces the outdoors and brings her vibrant energy to building communities and making a positive impact.     Barbara West’s passion for travel began at two years old on her first trip to Europe. With extensive experience in business development across travel, education, and hospitality, she fosters meaningful relationships and creates unforgettable educational experiences for schools and corporate groups.

    Ben started his career in travel designing and implementing luxury road trips all over the United States, with a focus on high-end hotels, incredible nature, and white-glove concierge service.     Meet Gabe, the adventurous spirit of our team! At just 27 years old, Gabe’s passion for the outdoors and snow sports, with snowboarding being his ultimate thrill, is truly infectious. Despite hailing from sunny Florida, Gabe found his calling in the stunning landscapes of Oregon, where he has been carving up the slopes, guiding FN experiences, and exploring nature’s wonders for the past five years.

    qUENTIN gODMAN

    GUIDE

    Growing up in Appalachia, Quentin’s enthusiasm for the outdoors has brought him all over the country. From working in Lake Powell, Utah to guiding Jeep tours in Denali, Alaska, Quentin loves sharing the outdoors with other enthusiasts. In 2023, he hiked the Pacific Crest Trail, traversing over 2000 miles from Mexico to Canada. Now he’s thrilled to call Oregon his home and create shared fun, meaningful, and mindful experiences in the PNW playground.

    Devin Kelly is a fourth generation Oregonian and has shared a passion for adventure and the outdoors since childhood. After living in Costa Rica in 2002, he moved back to Oregon and spent 4 years as lead guide for Extreme Adventures.

    Originally from northern Italy, Irene has now been calling Portland home for the last 5 years. She has worked for a PR agency doing strategic communications and branding for the beverage industry – building long-lasting relationships with vendors throughout the country.

    Dan has over 15 years experience as an outdoor educator, professional adventure guide, and high-level facilitator for retreats, meetings, and teambuilding programs. He takes great care to help create a meaningful and lasting visit.

    Ben always had an incredible affinity for outdoor adventures, & more so for creating such experiences from scratch to share with others. Ben has spent his career crafting meaningful experiences in the Adventure Travel and Outdoor Education industries; a pursuit that has taken him to Mt. Kilimanjaro, the ruins of Machu Picchu, the backcountry of Yellowstone NP, and now the beautiful nature of the PNW!

    At a young age, I discovered a powerful connection to the natural world. My youth revolved around exploring the iconic woods, mountains and rivers of the Pacific Northwest. As I grew, I realized the vital role that nature plays in my wellbeing. I decided to dedicate my life to the natural world and to helping others explore and care for it.

    Guide

    From an early age Chris developed a deep love for and knowledge of Nature and outdoor skills by spending summers at a fishing cabin in the woods and lakes of northern Ontario Canada, and in the high Sierra mountains of California. Chris has a degree in cultural anthropology and has led sports and walking tours of major cities throughout Scandinavia, the U.K., Northern Europe, and the U.S..

    Eliot Headley

    Growing up in Lake Tahoe, CA, Eliot Headley has enjoyed exploring and learning in the outdoors from a young age. With a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies and Biology from UC Santa Cruz, he continues to seek an understanding of the intersections of biodiversity, sustainability, and tourism.

    Katie Harris

    Guide

    Originally from Arizona, Katie relocated to Portland after six years of seasonal work around the globe, including five seasons at a research station in Antarctica. She has been an archaeologist in the Southwest, canoe guide in Tennessee, trail crew member in Chile, and pastry chef in Alaska.
