Alpenrausch: A love letter to the Swiss Alps, this new restaurant from Olympia Provisions is their take on an Alpine chalet restaurant.

Flour Bloom: This 70’s disco themed New York-Italian cafe is serving up eclectic baked treats decorated with edible glitter and vibrant colors, as well as savory breakfast sandwiches and a coffee menu.

HallwayPDX: This themed karaoke bar takes inspiration from the 1980’s horror film The Shining, emphasizing thrilling craft cocktails, a diverse array of singalong song options, and a unique vibe.

The Houston Blacklight: Named Eater’s best new bar in 2023, this vibrant cocktail bar started by the Portland restaurant duo behind Gado Gado and Oma’s Hideaway serves up colorful drinks, delicious food, and an eclectic neon atmosphere.

Kaya: Combining a love for mixed drinks and sneakers, this new cocktail bar comes from Katya Suh, the creator behind the series ‘Kicks and Cocktails’. 

Orange & Blossom Patisserie – With a focus on sustainability sourced plant-based and organic ingredients, this modern pastry cafe crafts seasonal gourmet sweet treats that are just as pretty as they are tasty.

The Paper Bridge – This artisanal Northern Vietnamese restaurant showcases not only the made-from-scratch flavors of the region, but also the history and culture where they come from.

Pasar – Bringing Indonesian market meals to Portland, this Chinese-Indonesian restaurant and bar serves up everything from snacks to full-course dinners.

Sun Rice – Located inside the Moxy Hotel, chef TJ Cruz puts his own twists on traditional Filipino breakfast dishes, featuring vibrant flavors such as mango-peach hot sauce.

Seattle

Ananas Pizzeria: Aiming to reinvent pizza, Asian chef Khampaeng Panyathong is putting his own flare on an Italian classic.

Café Suliman – Featuring a Middle Eastern menu of Arabic comfort food run by the café’s namesake, Ahmed Suliman.

Cantina Sauvage – Claiming to be a “purveyor of f*cking delicious wines”, this Seattle-based company focuses on natural, honestly-made wines.

Dada’s Plant-Based Burgers & Breakfast – This vegan restaurant offers a classic American menu of burgers, sandwiches, milkshakes, and breakfast bites, all plant-based.

Gold Coast Ghal Kitchen – Chef Tina Fahnbulleh makes her restaurant debut with a menu full of Liberian and Ghanaian cuisine, open until 2am.

Lioness – Inspired by Italian bars and charming neighborhood restaurants, this spot is designed to bring the warmth and welcoming atmosphere of Italy, whether you’re grabbing a quick glass of wine at the standing bar or reserving a table for dinner.

Neb Wine Bar – This Italian-inspired wine bar features over a dozen Italian wines paired with cheeses, small bites, and wood-fired dishes.

Pancita – Previously a pop-up, this Mexican restaurant is getting a permanent home in Seattle. The menu includes fresh corn tortillas and some of the best brisket in Washington.

Paper Cake Shop – Making everyday a celebration, Seattle chef Rachel Yang and pastry-chef Gabby Park team up to experience the joy of layer cake.
