Oktoberfest Northwest – Join Washington’s largest Munich-inspired Oktoberfest featuring traditional beer, food, performances, music, and more! October 6th – 8th. 

Cascadia Poetry Festival – Showcasing poetry from the region, this festival features artist workshops, poetry readings, panel discussions, and celebration of the Cascadia region. October 6th – 8th.

Dungeness Crab & Seafood Festival – Take the trip to Port Angeles to taste delicious seafood as well as learn from local environmental organizations about natural seafood resources. October 6th – 8th. 

Northwest Chocolate Festival – Called North America’s top show for chocolate, this weekend-long festival features sweet treats from some of the best chocolatiers in the world as well as education on how chocolate is sourced and made. October 7th – 8th.

OysterFest – Washington’s largest seafood festival offers not only an abundance of tasty oysters and hands-on exhibits, but also is home to the West Coast Oyster Shucking Championships! October 7th – 8th.

 

Portland

FashioNXT – Voted #1 US City Fashion Week by Forbes, this fashion weekend showcases collections from both international and local designers, as well as the winners of Project Runway. October 5th – 7th.

First Friday Art Walk – Located in the Arts District on the East Side, this monthly exhibit features more than 20 independent galleries and studios. October 6th.
