Though Western Washington isn’t famous for agricultural, this area is renowned for flour growing and was even the locale for the award-winning HBO series “Growing Floret”. In March La Conner Daffodil Festival is hosted and in April the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival.

Connecting Skagit Valley to Bellingham, this scenic byway shares the stunning coastal vistas of the Puget Sound and San Juan Islands. Along this drive you’ll find a variety of excellent seafood, especially shellfish.
